During last week on 1-2nd of April in the framework of the project “Young Entrepreneurs” the final session of the international entrepreneurship program was held in Murmansk.

During the first day the students have listened the lectures on perspectives of doing business in Russia. Ms. Kristin Hoiby, Council Economic Relations of Consulate General of Norway in Murmansk, has greeted the participants and told about the perspectives on Norwegian-Russian business relations. The representative from Norwegian-Russian School on Murmansk, Ms. Vera Syrovatskaya, has informed the participants about basics of international marketing. Mr. Hans-Olav Rekdal, Program Manager of NRCC made the presentation on “Logistics as an important element in international business development”. Supervisory Board Member of the North West 1 Alliance Bank / SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge, Mr. Stig-Joar Olsen, has told about communications and cultural awareness in international business. Then regional business case was introduced to the participants. It was about the development of program for the company «Flait Group». Mr. Ulrich Kreuzenbech, Director of the company has informed the participants about main directions of the organization.

After several hours of productive work in groups the participants have presented their results.  The organizators have shared their opinion about the results and were thankful to the students for the innovative methods of solving the case.

The second day of the international program has started from the presentation about business opportunities in the Arctic, which was made by Regional Director of CCI RF, Mr.Dmitry Bystrov. After that the participant has presented their business plans on creation and development of plants aimed at the farming and production of salmon. Students were in tough competition between each other. Results of the final session were announced at the awards ceremony, which was held in the building of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Norway.

The winners of the international program are: Natalia Privalova, Christoffer Ravneberg, Yekaterina Artyushova, Alexey Maximov, Inger Beate Torvnes, Dmitry Gulenin. The participants got the diplomas and memorable presents.
