On April 23, 2018 delegation of the Consulate General of Sweden from St. Petersburg visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Murmansk region in particular: Hans Magnusson, Acting Consul General, Consul Morten Frankby and Ekaterina Krestovskaya, Assistant to Consul General. At the meeting Anatoly Glushkov, the President of the Chamber, informed the guests about present state and prospects for development of the Murmansk region. Swedish diplomats in turn reported that a business delegation is planned to visit the Murmansk region this  autumn and the most acceptable dates for the visit are discussed. The Swedish Consulate General considers 2 options - participation in the Murmansk International Business Week or a separate visit later - everything will depend on the interest of Swedish business delegation. The diplomats also announced that the official opening of the “Bergman 100” multimedia project will be organized  in Murmansk in the framework of the Barents Bird festival. This project is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Ingmar Bergman, the famous Swedish film-maker, theater director and the writer.
